Spa Profile: The Spa & Salon at Park MGM

The Vitality Pool.

Located in the heart of Las Vegas’s newest resort, The Spa & Salon at Park MGM is a serene retreat that features a comprehensive menu of treatments for guests to enjoy as they disconnect and unwind. The Spa has treatment rooms of all sizes, along with a team of talented therapists that can perform services poolside or in a guest’s room upon request.

Next door is The Salon, an intimate space designed to encourage lively interaction and socialization. Laura Wood, Director of The Spa & Salon at Park MGM, took us behind the scenes of the brand-new spa, sharing recommended treatments, what to splurge on, and more:

Why You’ll Love It: Our guests love the approachability of our space and the unique feeling the small, intimate setting creates. The entrance to our spa begins with a softly lit hallway, then you turn a corner and find yourself in a cozy reception area that’s lightly scented with lavender and eucalyptus to begin the relaxation process.

Key Features: Our facilities include a Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room for our guests to enjoy, as well as a relaxation room equipped with anti-gravity relaxation chairs that extend for pure comfort. The relaxation room is so intimate and cozy, and creates a moment for guests to revel in serenity before and after their treatments.

Insider’s Tip: Guests visiting our salon are greeted with a complimentary glass of rose with their service.

Bonus: When I travel and enjoy spa treatments, I like to spread my spa services out and book one each day so I have use of the spa each day that I am on vacation.

Spa Snacks: We have created a very boutique feel in our spa and salon. This translates to the food and beverages we offer as well: a selection of non-traditional nourishment like seasonal fruit and other unique food items for our guests to snack on while they visit us in the spa.

Most Unique Aspect: What is most unique about our services is that we perform massages and facials in the same room. This allows the guest to relax as they are not required to move treatment rooms to experience different services.

Splurge Treatment: Two of the must luxurious treatments we offer are the Park Signature Plant Cell Facial by Enessa and the Sothys Hanakasumi Body Treatment. The Plant Cell Facial incorporates the latest innovations in plant cell research to utilize whole plant cells and the highest form of stable, plant-based vitamin C Kakadu Plum extract to repair, firm and hydrate skin in this indulgent facial. We don’t forget eyes, lips and hands, which are left feeling silky and uplifted with a more radiant appearance after the treatment concludes.

In the Sothys Hanakasumi Body Treatment, we take guests on an enchanting sensorial journey with floral notes of cherry blossom and lotus flower for pure relaxation. The treatment incorporates a warm exfoliating cream to soften and smooth, followed by a warm, aromatic shea butter for a treatment that’s as rejuvenating to the mind as it is to the body. I’d recommend either of those for a splurge.

Insider’s Favorite: I love the Hot Stone Massage. It’s both relaxing and therapeutic.

Featured Products: We use Oribe in the Salon for our hair care services; Priori and Enessa for skincare and body services; and Kopari for massage and nail services.
