One of the best ways to take a break and rejuvenate at home is to indulge in a nice long bath. Light some candles, turn on some soothing music, and leave your phone in the other room to enjoy some much-needed self-care time.

You can take things one step further by creating your own bath salts—they’re great for moisturizing skin, detoxing the body, decreasing stress and pain, and help to improve sleep. Epsom salts are the most popular therapeutic salts due to their high levels of magnesium sulfate. To learn more about Epsom salts and their benefits, click here.

Velas Resorts shares three amazing DIY bath salt recipes to help you relax and recharge. They’re super easy to make, smell incredible, and make for a fun activity to do at home.

Bonus: if you put them in clear glass bottles or jars, they make for a great decoration in your bathroom!
