3 Halloween Nail Looks by Essie

Halloween is right around the corner, and whether you’re going all out with a costume this year or just planning to watch Hocus Pocus at home on Netflix while handing out candy, you can still get into the spirit of the holiday by giving yourself a cute manicure. Essie manicurist Jini Lim created three fun and easy Halloween-inspired nail looks that are the perfect accent to any costume, and you don’t have to be a pro to create them:

1) Negative Space Cobwebs

Get the Look:

• Paint Essie shade “Skinny Dip” over the entire nail.

• Using Essie shade “Licorice”, create a small black half-moon shape with lines coming out from the bottom of the nail.

• Finish by creating a web design going the other way. Tip: Use brighter shades for a more colorful look.

2) Black & Orange Minimal Dots

Get the Look:

• Using Essie Fall 2018 shade “Fall for NYC”, paint the entire nail.

• Create random dot designs on each nail using a dotting tool and Essie shade “Tribal Textiles.”

3) Black & Copper Half Moons

Get the Look:

• Using Essie Fall 2018 shade “Say It Ain’t Soho”, paint the entire nail.

• Create a black half-moon design over the copper color using shade “Licorice.”
