5 Looks for Ringing in the New Year with Style
After 2020, we are all ready for a new year filled with new things that bring us joy. For our NYE celebrations, it used to mean parties, trips, watching fireworks and the ball drop in Times Square. As we know, festivities this year will look much different—but will still be filled with fun and joy.
How to Create a Vision Board to Make Your Wishes Come True
For me, the new year is about being with those I love, and even though I may not be watching fireworks in San Francisco this year, it will still consist of dressing up and eating honey baked ham, which is a time-honored tradition in my family. Breaking out the traditions that we have lost are what really matters now more than ever. I can’t wait to toast at midnight and go into 2021 with a newfound hope and excitement for what is to come.
How to Cure a Hangover (and Still Look Fabulous!)
A tradition that I look forward to each year ( this year is no different) is putting my outfits together for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s day. I try to utilize what I have while also picking up some new pieces I know will take me into the New Year. Just because we are celebrating at home this year doesn’t mean we can’t rock our favorite outfit from a cozy sweatshirt to a velvet top. Here’s to an amazing 2021!
Look #1: Stay at Home Cozies
I have always been one to love a great lounge set paired with a sweatshirt that expresses the feeling of the time! New Year’s is the perfect time to bust out one of my favorite go-to outfits and a new pair of rainbow fuzzy slippers. Being comfy and cozy while celebrating with the ones I love is always a great way to ring in the New Year!

Look #2: Sequins & Velvet
I have been gravitating towards sparkle, sequins, and velvet for as long as I can remember. It gives me all the good feelings you want going into a new year, then adds some bling on the earrings and I am good to go! Don’t forget to share your sparkle with everyone and do it while rocking some velvet topped off with faux leather leggings!

Look #3: Into the Wild
My love of mixing prints continues to grow and one of those prints has continued to be animal print. It looks as though it could be quite chilly this New Years’s Eve, so adding in a classic turtleneck paired with my new favorite shoes that were given as a gift make for the perfect into the wild outfit—and by wild, I mean my front yard!

With the new year comes New Year’s resolutions and health is a big one for me in 2021, so by being in my joggers and comfy socks, I’m halfway there. So why not celebrate at home in my favorite athleisure outfit? Then on January 1, I will be ready to get this body moving into a healthy year!

What better way to start off my 2021 celebration then by rocking my power outfit that consists of of a topknot, sweater dress, and my favorite over-the-knee boots? Adding in details like pom-poms and cute hoops makes this an outfit that is not only dressy, but fabulously comfortable.
