Our latest Beauty Boss is Annie Bruno, Founder of Skin Charm—a luxury medical aesthetics spa in Scottsdale, Arizona that pairs cutting-edge treatments with Southern hospitality. In addition to being a certified aesthetics nurse specialist, nurse injector, and licensed esthetician with 15 years of experience, Bruno is a also a national trainer and speaker for Allergan.
She has been recognized as one of the top 100 nurse injectors in the country and has extensive knowledge and experience in injectable medications, chemical peels, lasers, microneedling, facial reconstructive plastic surgery, skincare products, and skin health.

Bruno and her team of expert skin health practitioners are dedicated to helping each patient look and feel like the best version of themselves, and they partner with each client for a one-on-one assessment to understand and their unique goals as well as skin and aging concerns.
Skin Charm’s menu of services and treatments ranges from non-surgical injectables to medical-grade skin and laser treatments including BBL (Broadband Light Laser Treatment) and Moxi Laser, among others. They also offer skin care memberships with special benefits including discounts of retail and services, a free monthly skin treatment, exclusive members only access to promotions and events, and more.
We chatted with Bruno who shared her favorite beauty and wellness tips, secrets for success, best advice, and much more.
When was Skin Charm founded and where are you located?
Skin Charm was founded in October of 2019. We are located in Old Town, Scottsdale.
What inspired the creation of Skin Charm?
Skin Charm was created on the foundation of clinical excellence and Southern charm—gold standard skin care served up on a silver platter.
What do clients love about Skin Charm?
Patients love and appreciate their carefully curated care plans, the personal feel, and the natural yet measurable outcomes they achieve by partnering with our providers.

What services do you offer?
We offer non-invasive aesthetic treatment options: injectable medications, lasers, hydradermabrasion, microneedling, chemical peels, custom facials, and wellness services.
Do you offer a signature treatment?
We are currently working on an outcomes based menu (with unique, made-to-order outcomes) but every service currently offers a customized care plan called the "preserving the pretty" plan that follows the patient through their long-term care plan and goals as a part of their partnership with our practice.
We also offer our "Skin Charm Society," which allows patients to be rewarded for their loyalty with VIP pricing, gifts, access to special events, regular samples of new products, access to first-to-know information announcements, and more!
What’s your favorite treatment?
It's hard for me to pick a favorite treatment, but you'll never catch me without my Botox, cheek/jawline filler, and regular laser treatments.

Future plans for the brand?
We are launching some very cute merchandise this fall!

Who inspires you?
My late father, Reese Witherspoon, and Dolly Parton.
Secret to success?
Secret to success is to never forget where you started or to be afraid of returning to that should you ever need to. Willingness, positive attitude, work ethic, kindness, and personal touches go a long way. "People may forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel."
Beauty secrets?
My main beauty secret is to always wash your face! I'm a firm believer in medical-grade skin care, regular exercise, and a clean diet. If you're getting injectables without using great skin care it's like "washing a bed with dirty sheets"—there's no point.
How do you like to relax?
I relax by going for walks with my dog, hanging out with horsies, spa days (I love a steam room), and spending time with my 2-year-old son, Warner. Two-year-olds are very busy, but the joy he brings me recharges my soul in the best possible way. Everything I do is for him and my legacy—and the gratitude I feel to be able to work towards that is more rewarding than anything.
