Beauty Boss: Alyssa Durivou, General Manager of Eau Spa at Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa
Our latest Beauty Boss is Alyssa Durivou, General Manager of Eau Spa at Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa—the only independent property in Palm Beach to earn the coveted Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star recognition and one of 10 in Florida to earn the AAA Five Diamond Award. Eau Spa is also one of the first spas to carry the two new fragrance collections that make up the Storie Veneziane fragrance pillar of the Valmont Group: Palazzo Nobile and Collezione Privata.
Durivou has been with WTS International since 2013, where she has held multiple roles, including Corporate National Task Director and Interim Task Force Director for the spa at Trump Doral Miami, where she managed and built up the spa team. A former ballet dancer and instructor who competed in national dance competitions, Durivou continues to demonstrate her leadership skills and commitment in the spa community, and continues to successfully build client relationships, creating and implementing efficient systems.
In March 2020, she was nominated for the prestigious Women’s Chamber of Commerce Giraffe Awards, which honors women who have “stuck their necks out” by taking risks; applying initiative, dedication and perseverance; and by making a difference for women in the work place and in the community.
“This was unexpected and it was exciting to be nominated,” says Durivou. “It is an honor to be considered among the many women in Palm Beach County, as they all exude the qualities that inspire me.”
We chatted with Durivou, who discussed her career in the industry, shared her favorite wellness and beauty tips, and more.
