Our latest Beauty Boss is Anna Buss, Founder of Fitglow Beauty—a line of skincare and makeup products that have perfect chemistry with skin. As a personal trainer and health nutritionist, Buss found that beautiful skin and health went hand in hand, and spent over a decade researching plant-based ingredients and working closely with skin experts, doctors, and chemists to refine and perfect evidence-based formulas that go beyond the top layer of the skin.
Formulated to work in harmony with skin and made with the health of skin in mind, Fitglow products are made from ethically-sourced, plant-based ingredients that are free of heavy oils, silicones, and waxes to provide all the nutrition skin needs to achieve optimal health and fitness.

We chatted with Buss, who shared the inspiration behind the brand, best advice, wellness tips, and more.
When was Fitglow Beauty founded? What does the name mean?
Fitglow Beauty was founded in 2015. We are very excited to be approaching our six-year anniversary this May. Being a nerdy kid and growing up in different countries, I always felt like I never truly fit in. The way I see it, when you fit in, you’re able to glow. That’s where Fitglow comes from. I wanted to create products that fit into your skin and routine, thus allowing you to feel comfortable in your own skin and help you glow.
What inspired the creation of the brand?
After years of trying to heal my ultra-sensitive rosacea skin, I was unable to find products that were soothing and calming to my skin, and free of harsh chemicals. After so many years of trial and error trying to heal my skin, I set out to create products that would give me the results I was seeking.
Do you have a hero product?
We strive to listen to our customers’ feedback and requests so that all products we create become our customers’ signature hero products they love and trust. Made with skin-loving natural ingredients for thriving results, some of our signature products include:
What’s your favorite product(s) from the brand?
I love all products equally, but if I was stranded on an island, I would take Eye C Firm, Vegan Good Lash+ Mascara, Vita Active Serum, Cloud Ceramide Balm, and Lip Colour Serum in shade Buff.

Future plans for the brand?
We are excited to continue to pave the way into sustainability with eco-conscious beauty made with the health of your skin and planet in mind…and some innovative, next level products.

Honestly, work relaxes me. I am most relaxed when I’m doing what I do because I love the creative aspect of Fitglow Beauty.
