This week, we sat down with Lauren Steinberg, Founder of Queen V—a female-powered, millennial-focused health and wellness company that has cultivated a community of empowered women and conquered the feminine wellness space with safe products. Here, she divulges how she got her start, beauty secrets, wellness tips, and more:

What inspired the creation of Queen V?
I have been around vaginas my entire life, not only because I am female but because my dad is a gynecologist. As I got older, I started to get infections down there. I went to the gynecologist, began doing my research, and started to talking to my friends and realized that I wasn’t alone. I became frustrated and decided to take matters into my own hands. This is when Queen V really began. Our products are made for women by women and take a really unique approach to vaginal health.
How long have you been in business?
We launched in WalMart stores in April 2018.
Tell us more about your line. Do you have a hero product?
We have a ton of “hero” products, but it really depends on what you are looking for! All of our maintain products are great if you’re looking for everyday products. The Spritzer is good for on-the-go and the Wipes are a staple for your bathroom. The Eraser and UTMI are great if you’re prone to vaginal infections!

What’s your favorite product from your line?
My favorite product really depends on the day! My go-to products are V Bar, The Spritzer, Swipe Right Wipes and DD. The Eraser and UTMI are lifesavers (in my opinion)!

Who inspires you?
I look up to so many amazing female founders like Sara Blakely, Alli Webb and Whitney Wolfe Gerd, but my main inspiration is my mom. She’s my biggest cheerleader.
Secret to success?
There really is no secret! Hard work, passion, authenticity and finding a white space that is ripe for disruption are all key elements.
Beauty secrets?
Sunscreen and a great face mask.
Wellness tip?
Spend quality time with those you love, try to find a workout class that you enjoy going to, and put your phone on “do not disturb” at night!
Best advice?
You don’t get what you don’t ask for.
