Our latest Beauty Boss is Regis Haberkorn, Founder and President of PRIORI Skincare—a line of professional skin care backed by science that was created exclusively for dermatologists, medical spas, and spas that were seeking the most advanced solutions for their patients. Since launching in 2005, the brand has continued to expand and innovate, and has broadened the product line in order to make their collections and cutting-edge technologies accessible to people around the world.

PRIORI has a team of dedicated scientists and formulators that have created some of the biggest breakthroughs in skin science such as AHA, LED devices, Idebenone Complex, DNA repair enzymes, and Tetra fx251—a tinted sunscreen that offers four levels of environmental protection. We chatted with Haberkorn, who shared the inspiration behind the innovative skincare brand, favorite wellness tips, secrets to success, and more. 

When was PRIORI founded? What does the name mean?

PRIORI was completely reformulated, rebranded, and relaunched in 2018, but has a long legacy of innovation since it initially launched in 2006.

What inspired the creation of the brand?

To bring new skincare technologies to the market so that men and women regardless of age and ethnicity can achieve their ideal skin and unveil unparalleled radiance. Trying to use science to create simple skincare solutions so that consumers can have a results-driven regimen with only a few simple steps. 

Do you have a hero product?

We have many, but in Fall 2019 we launched our DNA Intense Recovery Creme, which can protect against environmental damage, thanks to a combination of natural DNA repair enzymes and Butterfly Bush extract that protect from HEV blue light generated by our use of modern electronic devices.

What are your favorite products from the brand?

I’m really addicted to our TTC fx340 Skin Restore Creme. This natural and clean lightweight moisturizer is formulated with three purified extracts of colorless turmeric, green tea and grape seed extracts for free radical protection, soothing, and brightening. It’s perfect for me as I have a lot of sun damage from outdoor activities.

Where are your products sold?

We are sold on our website, in med spas and spas in the US, and in 26 countries around the world.

Future plans for the brand?

We plan to continue to expand our distribution and to help our customers be successful despite the current situation through online education, virtual events and the ability to develop a drop shipping model with each individual client. 

We also recently launched our new UNVEILED LED Mask that is FDA approved and clinically proven to reduce wrinkles, inflammation, and pigmentation! And we will bring soon proprietary patented ingredients as well, but we will give more details when all is ready to launch. 

PRIORI DNA Intense Recovery Creme ($115) is a luscious balm that protects against environmental, blue light, and UV stress.

What inspires you?

One of my inspirations is the famous adventurer Mike Horn, as he has used detailed research and unbelievable drive to succeed in his life-threatening adventures. But I am far less intense!

Secret to success?

A good balance between confidence and healthy doubts, knowledge, drive, a bit of luck, and above all, adaptability. And probably failing a few times!

Beauty secrets?

I have been using a moisturizer since I was 14 years old.

Wellness tips?

Sleep seven hours, love my wife and kids, practice sports daily, be outside as much as possible, and eat fresh cooked meals based on a good Mediterranean diet. 

Best advice?

Make sure you have a job that you are passionate about and try to achieve a good balance between hard work and a lot of fun outside work! 

How do you like to relax?

I love to practice my favorite sports like kiteboarding or backcountry skiing…having nature as a playing field frees up my mind and brings me serenity.
