Beauty Bosses: Dr. Lesley & Dr. Morgan Rabach, Founders of LM Medical

Dr. Lesley and Dr. Morgan Rabach are sisters in life and sisters in practice.

Our latest Beauty Bosses are Dr. Lesley and Dr. Morgan Rabach, sisters and Founders of LM Medical—a NYC practice that offers high-quality comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic care in the industry with a full-spectrum, customized approach that ranges from minimal intervention skin care to the most adept facial plastic surgery techniques. 

Prior to starting their own practice, Dr. Lesley and Dr. Morgan worked for established practices uptown in Manhattan before joining forces to form an accessible practice for every type of patient with the goal to make people feel like themselves but better—be it through plastic surgery or non-invasive aesthetic services and skincare treatments.

Dr. Lesley is a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon who exclusively performs surgery of the head and neck. Her signature procedures include facelifts, neck lifts, lip lifts and eyelid surgery. An expert in the aging face, she also performs cosmetic procedures such as Botox and Fillers. Additionally, Dr. Lesley is a clinical Assistant Professor at NYU and Bellevue, where she teaches facial plastics fellows and ENT residents.

Dr. Morgan is a board-certified Dermatologist and a leader in the injectable cosmetic procedures (Botox and Fillers). In addition to her private practice, she is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology at Mount Sinai Hospital.  

We chatted with the sisters behind the holistic medical practice, who discuss their approach to wellness and beauty, signature procedures and treatments, and more.

When was LM Medical founded? What does the name mean?

LM Medical was founded three years ago. The name is the first initial of each of our names, Lesley and Morgan.

What services do you offer?

We offer services that range the gamut from medical dermatology skin checks and comprehensive skin assessments to skin care, botox and fillers, hair restoration, to the deepest and most complex cosmetic surgery of the face and neck.

Tell us about your holistic approach to wellness.

At LM Medical we use a combined approach of a board-certified dermatologist and a board-certified facial plastic surgeon. Our surgical patients have the benefit of having their skin optimized prior to surgery, and our dermatology patients have the benefit of another provider to give the full spectrum for their every need so we can really offer a stepwise approach to many issues.

Dr. Lesley Rabach is a double board-certified expert facial plastic surgeon who exclusively performs surgery of the head and neck.

Do you offer a signature treatment?

Dr. Lesley: My signature treatments include undereye filler, blepharoplasty, lip lift, and deep plane face/neck lift, jawline filler/lipo-contouring, and non-surgical rhinoplasty.

Dr. Morgan: My specialty is achieving flawless skin (accomplished through a variety of means), cheek and jawline enhancement, natural lip enhancement, body kybella, and non-surgical butt lifts.

What product lines do you offer?

We carry SkinMedica, which is a medical grade skin care line.

Who inspires you?

So many people inspire us! Our mom, who was an artist, went back to dental school with no science background when we were little. We thought it was normal to have a mom studying at 3 a.m.! She truly did it all and we strive today to also balance family and work.

We have many people who inspire us, perhaps the best example is Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who passionately pursued and achieved lofty goals by re-defining the rights of women under the law—all while still having a family.  We are generally inspired by people that have the courage to make a true footprint on the world, and make life easier for other people.

Secret to success?

The secret to success is to work hard, be honest, treat each patient as you would want to be treated, and give the absolute best possible results.

Dr. Morgan Rabach is a board-certified dermatologist with expertise in cosmetic procedures such as neuromodulators and dermal fillers.

Beauty secrets?

Make sure to wash off all your makeup daily, wear sunscreen every single day, drink eight glasses of water a day, use Latisse, Lytera, TNS, and of course, Botox and fillers!

Wellness tips?

Try to sleep eight hours a day, drink plenty of water, eat healthy, and meditate. We always try to remember how lucky we are to be able to de-stress! A wise businessman told us that when we wake up at night and can’t fall back asleep, write down what we are thinking about (keep a pad of paper by our desk side) so you can fall asleep again! Also, walk a lot.

Best advice?

Our best advice is also our secret to success: work hard, stay humble, treat people as you would want to be treated, give everyone the best possible results, and remember that the sky is the limit for what you can achieve.

Favorite ways to relax?

Dr. Lesley: Hang out with Dr. Morgan and get a good massage, face mask or skin peel, luxurious spa manicure or pedicure—or simply enjoy a relaxing night watching a movie at home with my family!
