Just Go Travel Studios turns photos into custom vintage-style travel posters and postcards.

Have you ever taken a photo on a trip and thought, Now that’s worthy of a frame! Pete and Amy Brahan, travel bloggers and national park enthusiasts, came up with the idea for Just Go Travel Studios—a company that creates custom posters, postcards and note cards out of images that customers send them.

Our Favorite Products Inspired By National Parks

As a huge fan of the historic WPA National Park Poster style, I had to try their services out for myself—and I’m so glad that I did. Last March my husband and I spent our honeymoon in Bora Bora, so we had dozens of great photos that would be perfect for a poster!

8 Things You Need to See and Do in Bora Bora

After spending several hours going through the images and reliving our amazing trip, we eventually narrowed it down to the top two—a picture of the overwater bungalow we stayed in and a shot of Mount Otemanu through the beautiful lagoon.

It’s super easy to create your own customer poster with Just Go Travel Studios. All you do is visit the website, select the type of item you want, upload your image(s), then it takes you through the process of customization, which includes everything from size and text to the type of filter you want. Afterwards, Pete and Amy will send you the first proof, and they will work with you until you are happy with the final image.

Working with Pete and Amy was an absolute pleasure. They responded to emails in a timely manner, sent me image proofs quickly, and they were super nice. Their passion for what they do can be see in the quality of their work, and within a couple of weeks, we had two stunning movie-sized posters delivered to our front door, which we are in the process of having framed so that we can put them on display in our home!

Recently, I had the opportunity to chat with Pete and Amy about how they came up with the idea for Just Go Travel Studios, the unique services they offer, and more. Read on to learn more about their process and how you can customize a poster of your own!

When was Just Go Travel Studios founded?

The foundations for our business were laid down in late 2016, and we began creating posters for Just Go Travel Studios customers in January 2017.

Where is Just Go Travel Studios based?

We are located in North Sutton, New Hampshire.  It’s a small town in a small state, but we ship product all over the world!

What inspired the idea for the business?

Inspired by vintage national park posters, Pete used one of our own photos to create a poster for me as a Christmas gift. That one gift (which Pete revealed before Christmas!) sparked the idea to create custom posters for others. After testing the idea with a few family members and close friends who also loved the finished products, we knew we had something special to offer!

What services do you offer?

Our most popular products are our custom travel posters. Although we originally started with national parks, customers send us photos from all over the world! We then create one-of-a-kind travel posters with customized filtering and text chosen by our customers. We will do as many drafts as it takes to get the poster just right before printing.

We also offer custom postcards and note cards, standard posters, and national park itineraries to help plan a trip to a U.S. national park. Blogging seemed a natural fit with our business, so you can also find lots of great national park and U.S. travel content on our website.

What do customers like about Just Go Travel Studios?

Our customers love the unique finished product and high-quality print. However, they continually tell us how much they appreciate our exceptional customer service. We correspond back and forth with our customers to get each poster just right. Furthermore, we guarantee 100% satisfaction, even if that means giving a full refund or redoing a print.

The unique process at Just Go Travel Studios involves personalized service to customize your poster just the way you want it.

What do you enjoy about the work you do?

Of course, we enjoy creating amazing custom posters! However, what really makes it all worthwhile is hearing feedback from our customers—how they gifted the poster to a family member who was so touched by the thoughtful gift they cried when opening it, how they surprised a friend with a custom poster after a special shared trip, or how they created a poster as a gift for a friend and were so impressed that they returned to make some for themselves. One customer said, “This company (couple) is a wonderful example of a small American business doing everything right!” And, you know what? That stuff just makes our day!

Anything else you’d like to share?

Part of our mission is to help protect our public lands, and we donate 10% of all after-tax profits to the National Park Foundation.

We are constantly adding new blog content to our website. We still have so much to share with our readers! And since we are passionate about national park travel (we’ve visited 38 out of 62 so far!), keep checking back to see where we head next!
