Celebrity Facialist Georgia Louise Opens Atelier in Los Angeles
Renowned celebrity facialist and skincare expert Georgia Louise recently opened Georgia Louise Los Angeles, a brand-new atelier in West Hollywood, California. Designed to replicate her Upper East Side Atelier in New York, the new space is located in an intimate private residence behind tall hedges and gates. It includes three private treatment suites, a spacious waiting area, retail space, and an outdoor serenity garden.
Louise is known for creating the signature “Lift + Sculpt” facial technique, along with specially-designed treatments that instantly and naturally lift cheekbones and brows, depuff, and brighten the face. Her client roster includes celebrities such as Karlie Kloss, Alexander Wang, Molly Sims, and more.
The Georgia Louise Atelier in West Hollywood has opened in accordance with regulations and guidelines put forth by the state of California, and beyond. The management team and staff have worked diligently during the shutdown periods to further update their rigorous sanitation and hygiene standards, in addition to implementing new polices and procedures to promote the health and safety of guests and staff. Protocols include:
Pre-Screenings: A pre-screening over the phone is required prior to booking. Any client with recent travel exposure or symptom history will not be eligible for an appointment.
Low Traffic: Limited appointment slots to reduce customer traffic inside the Atelier. Clients are required to call the front desk upon arrival and wait in the car or outside until appointment time.
Upon Arrival Inside the Atelier: Each client is required to wear protective face masks and shoe slips upon arrival. The receptionist will take each client’s temperature and provide an electronic health questionnaire before immediately escorting the client into their private, sterilized treatment suite to avoid wait time.
Personal Protection Equipment: All employees have received comprehensive training on coronavirus safety and sanitation protocols. Regulated PPE will be worn by all employees, including protective face masks, face shields, disposable gloves, and medical-grade antimicrobial uniform scrubs that will be changed after each client. The treatment beds have been fitted with custom-made acrylic facial shield boxes above the headrest for an extra layer of protection and peace of mind (see images enclosed) that are cleaned with Botanical Decon 30 hospital-grade disinfectant.
Linens and Equipment: Linens have been switched to disposable headbands and face towels. Fitted sheets and bath towels will be washed with antibacterial detergent on a high wash according to CDC guidelines and blankets have been removed completely. Mixing bowls and dishes are now disposable, and all facial tools including spatulas and mask brushes are for single use only.
Further Cleaning and Sanitation: The team is allowing a 30-minute turnaround to sanitize all door handles, machines, equipment, desks, chairs, treatment beds, and retail products after each client. Air purifiers with UltraHEPA filters placed around the Atelier will remove 99.97% of particles as small as .3 microns. A thorough cleaning of the entire Atelier will take place nightly.
Throughout July and August, clients can book a bespoke facial with Louise or her team of Los Angeles-based estheticians. House calls are also available and members of The AllBright West Hollywood will have access to her full suite of services, including priority booking and discounts.
