Jesamondo Salon and Spa first opened its doors in 1980 in Wellesley, Massachusetts as a hair salon with a handful of stylists. The salon quickly grew and now offers a complete menu of salon and spa services including hair, nails, skincare, facials, waxing, body wraps, men’s services, massage & Reiki, marconic “no touch” healing, spray tanning, and makeup applications. Each service is performed by expertly trained hair designers and spa professionals.

Today the spa and salon is located in South Natick and continues to provide unparalleled service for the Boston Metro West region. During the pandemic, Jesamondo Salon and Spa took advantage of the closure to make major improvements and upgrades —from building a new lobby with updated products, to overhauling its entire HVAC and air filtration system with a Synexis Microbial Reduction System to promote a healthier environment for employees and customers.

We caught up with Jesamondo Salon and Spa owner Matt Traiger to learn more about the destination, it’s services, and its newest upgraded features.

Why You’ll Love It: Most of our staff have been working at the Salon and Spa for decades. There really is a sense of family here and I think guests are able to pick up on that energy. Blonding, hair extensions, balayage, and bobs are very popular right now. And perms have come back and are trending as well. Nothing beats a nice scalp massage with your hair treatment.

State-of-the-Art Safety Upgrades: Our number one priority at Jesamondo Salon & Spa is to provide the utmost care for your clients and to keep them safe. For us, making the decision to invest in an air filtration system was a no-brainer. The brand-new hidden HVAC bio-defense system called the Synexis Microbial Reduction System is tucked into air vents in the ceiling. The devices use humidity and oxygen to deliver safe levels of dry hydrogen peroxide into the air. It is proven to be effective against both surface and airborne contaminants such as viruses (including COVID-19, E. Coli, Staph, Norovirus, H1N1, Listeria, C.Diff), bacteria, and mold, thirteen of the devices have been installed.
