Lexus Launches Wellness-Focused Retreats in Motion Program

Lexus’ brand-new Retreats in Motion Program offers guests the opportunity to drive in a new 2021 Lexus IS between luxury hotels while enjoying curated self-care activities along the way.

To promote well-being behind the wheel, Lexus has launched its first-ever Retreats in Motion Program, a series of driving retreats that offer guests the opportunity to enjoy scenic drives in a new 2021 Lexus IS between luxury hotels with curated self-care activities along the way.

Lexus has partnered with luxury hotels that have been hand-picked for their exceptional service, beautiful design, and culinary offerings. Guests will spend two nights at each resort with an average three-hour drive between each property before they return to the original hotel they started out from. The retreats are five days and four nights long, and participating hotels in the California-based retreats include:

• Cavallo Point Lodge to Post Ranch Inn: Wind along the Northern California coast to breathtaking Big Sur.

• Bardesseno Hotel & Spa to Pebble Beach Resorts: Wander through Napa Valley to the incomparable vistas of Pebble Beach.

• Terranea Resort to Post Ranch Inn: Go from beautiful Southern California to the incredible cliffs of Big Sur.

• In Spring 2021, visitors to the East Coast will be able to travel between XV Beacon and Chatham Bars Inn in Massachusetts.

At their originating hotel, travelers will be paired with the new 2021 Lexus IS sport sedan before embarking on a customized route that features suggested stops and wellness activities to enjoy throughout their drive. While taking in beautiful views during the drive, participants will also get to relax with aromatherapy and guided breath work, then end each day with a healthy gourmet meal.

The Retreats in Motion Program incorporates the Lexus vehicle as an integral part of the wellness experience that in addition to serving as a mode of transport is also a destination and sanctuary, equipped with a mobile wellness kit to further enhance the journey.

Lexus has also partnered with wellness lifestyle media brand mindbodygreen to create custom content featuring renowned wellness experts. Offerings including podcasts on sustainability, a guided walking meditation, an immersive in-car sound bath, and more.

Fees for the Retreats in Motion program start at $2,700 for two guests and include:

• 5-day, 4-night stay at each property

• Loan of a new 2021 Lexus IS vehicle

• Intimate access to curated wellness content including self-care discussions, in-vehicle sound bath, meditation, guided breath work, and more

• Complimentary welcome wellness kit

Bardessono Hotel & Spa in Napa Valley is among the hotels that Lexus has partnered with for the Retreats in Motion Program.
