Life Time Takes a Unique Approach to New Year's Resolutions with Commitment Day Events

Every year, the most popular New Year’s resolutions include losing weight, exercising more, and living a more healthy lifestyle. If you are a member of a gym, you’ve probably noticed how much more crowded it gets in January.

As optimistic as we may be about our resolutions at the start of the year, the truth is that most New Year’s resolutions only last a week or two. In fact, National Ditch Your Resolutions Day is officially on January 17. This is why Life Time—the athletic club which offers an athletic resort experience with healthy living opportunities, spa services, classes, and more—is taking a different approach to the start of the year.

Instead of resolutions, Life Time encourages people to make a specific commitment to One Positive Action in 2020, kicking off the New Year with its Commitment Day celebration. In support of this goal, Life Time locations will be open to everyone from December 28 through January 5 (members AND non-members) with a broad array of healthy and motivating events for all levels and abilities. (You can find out if there is a Life Time near you HERE.)

The company is also supporting Make-A-Wish in its mission to grant the wishes of children facing critical illnesses and the Life Time Foundation in its work to remove artificial and processed ingredients from school food.
