Recently, Meliá Punta Cana Beach Resort in the Dominican Republic debuted the new Wellbeing 360 Experience—a collection of resort wellness activities and rituals designed to guide and connect guests with their physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, social and environmental-oriented personal development.

The new wellness experience offers daily programming guided by experts and social spaces that include activities like yoga, meditation, bike tours, and more. The resort also has Silent Spaces that feature activities such as solo painting, reading pods, sound healing spots, and spiritual labyrinth rituals.

Part of Wellbeing 360 includes the opening of YHI Spa, a 2,200-square-foot space that has seven suites with private outdoor showers and three couples’ suites with private jacuzzis. It also includes a curated Atabeyra Water Emotion area, which promotes relaxation, health and peace through  the awakening of the body by various water rituals.

Meliá Punta Cana Beach has upgraded its food and beverage menus at five of its restaurants to offer an emphasis on healthy options, and the resort’s staff have immersed themselves into the Wellbeing 360 experience through a special program created specifically for staff that includes a health-focused menu in the employee restaurant, nutritional consultations, auto massage workshops that teach employees how to find pressure points via reflexology, a wellness library for employee education, and much more.
