New Delta One Lounge With Luxury Wellness Offerings to Debut at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York
Delta One ticket holders flying through John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York will enjoy a premium luxury travel experience at the new and exclusive Delta One Lounge.
The 39,000-square-foot lounge (larger than any Delta Sky Club) features chic, high-end design details that reflect Delta’s onboard partnership with Missoni, with special touches such as accept pillows, vases, and coffee table books. The lounge offers a variety of upgraded experiences and amenities including an entire wing devoted to self-care and wellness, allowing travelers to put their well-being at the forefront.

The designated wellness area is equipped with nine reservable relaxation pods with full-body massage chairs and nap chairs, treatments from Grown Alchemist-certified therapists, and more. A tranquil Serenity Lounge is located adjacent to the wellness area and includes specialty lamp lighting that mimics the light colors affecting the body’s circadian rhythms to help travelers get acclimated to the time zones they will be flying in.
Guests can quench their thirst at the Rejuvenation Bar, which serves refreshing non-alcoholic drinks along with fruit and herb-infused waters and juices.
For those that need to freshen up between long flights, the Delta One Lounge includes eight private shower suites that are stocked with towels, bathrobes, slippers, Grown Alchemist products, and more. Guests can also leave their items inside the suite closet for a valet attendant to steam and shine while they shower.
Business travelers and those that need to finish some work or take a private call can head to one of the Lounge’s eight individual soundproof booths for the ultimate in privacy.
Travelers can satisfy their appetites at the 140-seat Brasserie restaurant, which delivers a three-course meal service. The elevated culinary experience presented by Restaurant Associates and Union Square Events (a Danny Meyer concept) features menu highlights ranging from Hamachi crudo and steak tartare to lasagna Bolognese, among others.
For those with limited time to sit through a longer meal, The Market and Bakery offers an express dining experience featuring seasonal culinary offerings plated for walk-up service. Beverage cart service is also offered and allows guests to enjoy premium hospitality without leaving their seats.
The Lounge also features nods to other notable Big Apple locations with thoughtfully curated surprises throughout. Examples include:
The premium bar’s Art Deco-inspired lighting fixture, Bar Lounge ceiling and fluted glass nod to Radio City Music Hall’s golf leaf ceiling and chandeliers
Fan-shaped marble mosaic tiles in the Market dining area that pay tribute to New York brasseries
The suspended light fixture in the dining room that was inspired by the iconic overlapping strands of the Brooklyn Bridge
The white-marble countered Market and Bakery inspired by retro delicatessen food counters
The penny-round ceiling over the food counter is a hat-tip to the original JFK terminal, designed by famed architect Eero Saarinen
The Lounge gallery showcases art that reflects the airport’s global reach with original artwork by artists from Europe, India, Cuba, Japan, South Africa, and more.
Those in need of a breath of fresh air can step out onto the Terrace, a lush outdoor oasis with seasonally updated plants, a retractable roof, and views of the airfield. This space is designed to both stimulate the senses while calming the nervous system at the same time.
"Our teams have spared no detail to ensure Delta One Lounge guests receive a truly memorable experience," says Claude Roussel, Vice President – Delta Sky Clubs and Lounge Experience. "It’s a new era for Delta—this Lounge is raising the bar across the board, from the amenities to the food and beverage offerings to the level of personalized service. We want our guests to feel the difference here; moreover, we want them to feel welcomed and valued from the moment they step through the door."
