SSTAGIONI studio is located directly across from the ArcLight Cinemas in Salon Republic’s Hollywood location.
Located in the heart of Hollywood, SSTAGIONI specializes in hair services for men and women, in addition to makeup and beauty treatments, as well as their exclusive European Hot Scissors Haircut. The team behind SSTAGIONI consists of CEO and owner Yana Tammah and celebrity stylist JayR D’Angeles, both of whom regularly work with a long list of Hollywood celebrities, including Chris Pratt, Chris Harrison, Zendaya, and more. Their work has been featured on countless red carpet events, as well as the BBC, 5KTLA, Fox and Netflix, among others.
“After becoming successful in Moscow with my own studio, working with Russian celebrity clientele, authoring two books about beauty, and writing for fashion magazines, I decided to move to Los Angeles,” says Tammah. “I had always dreamed about working with Hollywood celebrities and on movie sets in the biggest film industry in the world. First I studied English and later decided to open my own studio in the heart of Hollywood, then JayR joined my team. Now the SSTAGIONI team consists of two top-notch professional image makers and celebrity stylists—one from Eastern Europe and the other from Hollywood. Combined, we offer more than 40 years of experience working on films, television shows and music videos, in addition to owning a salon and working behind the chair.”

When did SSTAGIONI open?
We opened our Hollywood location two years ago in August 2017. The year after, we opened another studio in Santa Monica. Currently we are going to open up a new location in Beverly Hills.
What’s the meaning behind the name?
I’m truly inspired by Italy and when I was there a few years ago working on my perfume project, I wanted to give my perfume line an Italian name. I was thinking about “four seasons,” which is what stagioni means in Italian. Why not give the name to my studio too, I thought? If you think about it, we have to be ready for all seasons, always look good, and go to the beauty salon regularly.
What inspired its opening?
Since I was a child, I always dreamed about making people look beautiful. After finishing high school, I became a makeup artist and beauty specialist. Later, I opened my first salon in Russia and learned all about hair and nails, but it wasn’t enough. I wanted to create a person’s entire look and make them feel complete—not just on the outside, but on the inside as well. I finished my post-education and found work creating images for celebrities, politicians, and for regular clientele. Nowadays, I believe that if any person wants to be attractive, successful, and inspirational, they have to work on their inner and outer beauty. And that’s exactly what SSTAGIONI’s belief system is.

What services do you offer?
Our team constantly looks out for the latest trends so that we can offer the best services to our clients. Besides regular haircuts, coloring, and makeup, we offer special services like the hot scissors hair cut (care cut or thermo cut ), “fire cut,” and personal makeup lessons.
Exclusive European Hot Scissors (Thermo Cut) is a wonderful tool that instantly transforms weak, dull, and lifeless hair, making it look and feel luxurious, strong, and shiny! Split ends will become healthy and more resistant. How does it work? This technology is based on the principle of cutting and sealing keratin scales. Hot Scissors is a repairing treatment for your hair. Sealed ends = healthy hair. “Fire cut” is also the best way to get rid of split ends.

SSTAGIONI carries several brands, including Bosley Pro, Cocco Hair Pro, Kevin.Murphy, Mitch Stone, Moehair, Organic Care, Rene of Paris, and Truss.

When a client comes into the SSTAGIONI studio, we recognize the personality of each individual and then, based on the combination of their features and life style, construct a new look for them. Our male and female visions are unique as image consultants because we believe beauty is closely tied to confidence and self-love, and we talk about cultivating a healthy lifestyle to match this energy with all clients. In other words, it’s not only about hair and makeup, it’s something more—a secret ingredient that makes the complete look of a person.
The SSTAGIONI team are experts in hair, makeup, clothing style, and accessories. We always bring passion and sophistication to our work, and are fulfilled when we are able to make over an individual so that they feel attractive, stylish, and is able to operate at their highest possible potential. We are idol makers and transform lives as we transform people.
Anything else we should know?
Both of us are educators and represent several professional brands. We are experts in beauty and have been featured on various TV stations where we share our product knowledge and beauty tips. I’m also the author of two celebrity style books, and I have authored self-help books on how to create a high-fashion makeup look at home.
Currently, we are working on our own perfume, hair, and skincare lines, including a line of professional tools for hairstylists with educational programs.
