Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa, Muscat's Ma-Li Cocktail Recipe
Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa, Muscat’s Chow Mee restaurant reflects a melting pot of influences from the streets of Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam and Thailand. Its drinks are just as exciting as the food, and one of the popular drinks served is the Ma-Li Cocktail (known as “jasmine flower” in Thai). Ma-Li is a refreshing drink with jasmine and strawberry flavors, along with a hint of juniper. If you’re looking to add some adventure to your next happy hour, try making this delectable drink.
Ma-Li Cocktail
Ingredients:
25ml or 1 1/2 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
30ml or 2 tbsp Sugar Syrup
60ml or 4 tbsp Jasmine Tea
80ml or 5 1/2 tbsp of Gin Gordon’s infused with Strawberry (infuse the Gin with strawberries for some time before preparation)
Directions:
Pour all the ingredients into a shaker (you can use a protein shaker too).
Fill it with ice cubes and shake gently.
Fill half a glass with ice cubes.
Pour the mixture into a glass by using a strainer.
Top up the cocktail with crushed ice.
Garnish with edible flowers and strawberry slices.
