The spa menu includes custom treatments, juices, and tonics infused with local garden botanicals, and a range of island-inspired holistic treatments that take guests on unique healing journeys. Weekly fitness classes such as yoga, barre, and Pilates among others are also available. We chatted with Creasy to learn more about treatments to try, insider tips, and more.

Why You’ll Love It: Our guests are completely enthralled with our guided water ritual. We recommend this journey prior to any spa treatment to prepare the mind and body for complete relaxation and renewal. This experience includes a welcoming beverage of a house-made tonic comprised of cinnamon and ginger root to activate the internal process of cleansing prior to dry sauna detoxification.

An outdoor rainfall shower deluge encompassed with volcano rock provide a deep conditioning hair wrap, prior to a steam experience with Hawaiian sea salt to exfoliate dry skin, ending with a refreshing cold plunge and jacuzzi soak to release last bits of tension and stress

Splurge Treatment: There is nothing more romantic than being completely relaxed next to your beloved. Our Volcanic Renewal consists of a 2-hour service and costs $900 per couple. Inspired by the volcanoes that created the Hawaiian islands, the Volcanic Renewal treatment effectively restores serenity and balance to your bodies.

A signature scrub containing volcanic rock particles will polish your skin and prepare you both for a deeply cleansing, full-body mask. Next, a healing volcanic clay mask will be applied head-to-toe, reawakening your body. As the mask works to pull impurities from your skin, your therapist will provide a vibrational sound healing of singing bowls.

The next step in your renewal is a full-body massage with a Hawaiian-made oil that will relax your nervous systems and calm anxieties. A tuning fork clearing will help you release the last bit of tension from your bodies and induce a profound renewal. Your Volcanic Renewal culminates in a private outdoor garden where you'll celebrate with champagne and chocolates.

Unique treatment: The Kukui’ula Signature treatment includes hand made products from Kauai, Big Island, and Maui. We created this treatment for a full face and body immersion of island excellence.

This healing experience will take you through a restoration journey quintessential to the ethos of Kukui`ula. Your spa therapy is curated with signature ingredients local to the island of Kauai, sourced and grown with love and care. The name “Kukui’ula” comes from the ancient lighthouse here that lit the way for night going ocean vessels and fishermen in days gone by. Its glow produces a red ember-like light, which begins your journey with a guava hibiscus sugar scrub to brighten your skin and delight the senses.

Once you have been polished, your skin will be drenched in marshmallow root and Hawaiian sandalwood combined with a nourishing coconut milk. A Lomi Lomi massage completes this journey with 100% pure Hawaiian Kukui nut oil, a decadent oil cherished across Polynesia for its soothing protection for the skin against the intense elements.  Your signature treatment is completed with a facial mist of aloe vera and neroli to give your skin, body, and soul a revival and healing found only at Kukui’ula. Welcome home.

Insider’s Favorite: I’ve personally written all of our signature treatments and specialty treatments, and it seems with the healing professionals we have the sky is the limit. Our therapists are certified in acupuncture, Reiki, and Thai yoga massage, and have immensely honed their craft and touch to be intuitive and deeply caring for our guests.

My favorite treatment is not only for our brides, yet we call it Bridal Glow (3 hours costs $750). Treat your skin with this decadent full-body therapy complete with a signature glowing Cryotherapy Facial. Your skin will be polished with pure sea salt melted in a blend of rose and jasmine essential oils to improve skin elasticity, ensuring you glisten.

After your whole body is toned with a hand pressed blend of fine sea salt, sugar, island botanicals, and shea butter, you will be massaged with a luxurious whipped Neroli soufflé body butter. As the last bits of tension are released from your muscles, your skin will soak in the benefits of sweet almond oil rich with vitamin E, leaving you with a silky satin-soft finish.

Once the eminent glow has surrounded every inch of your body, your face will be treated with a soothing and hydrating cleanse before a cooling and sculpting Cryotherapy Facial provides the ultimate facelift that will plump and leave you with photo-finished skin.
