The resort recently unveiled the world’s first Natura Bissé branded green oasis spa following a $2 million investment to create 30,000 square-feet of indulgent space. Solaya Spa & Wellness Centre has 12 treatment rooms with indoor and outdoor cabins, a dedicated anti-gravity yoga area with individual aero yoga structures, an indoor and outdoor Aqua Garden with a freshwater pool, a 3,000 square-foot state-of-the-art gym with an in-house personal fitness trainer, and a new wellness bar that only uses local island ingredients. Additional luxury amenities include a Swedish sauna, Hammam, rainfall showers, and exterior Jacuzzi for the ultimate relaxation experience.

We chatted with Pedro Castillo, Wellness & Spa Director at Eden Roc Cap Cana, who shared favorite treatments and amenities, insider tips, and more:

Why You’ll Love It: Where to begin? The wellness is really all-encompassing and ranges in products, techniques, treatments and suites. There's truly something for everyone.

Materials Awareness. We used organic and natural elements to design the space, so it's a beautiful sprawling environment.
Nature and Plants. We use tons of plants and green walls to promote well-being and pure air.
Themed Suites. Regarding Feng Shui, we use natural stones and curved walls to keep the continuous flow of the energy.

Key Features: Daily outdoor activities to promote wellness such as stretching classes, bike tours, mindfulness meditation, and Latin dance training. Natura Bisse amenities in the shower and oils to perform the massages. We use the best massage oils and they all have an extended benefit for our clients in their skin. Luxury amenities such Boca Terry bath robes, and also the simplicity of our botanical garden where clients can find themselves working on their breathing.

Snacks Served: Infused water, nuts, and seeds with natural fat and protein, fruits and tea. We also have a juice menu and champagne.

Bonus: We offer champagne at the spa, but what’s even more unique is that we welcome every guest with a chinola virgin martini with cucumber and a cold, refreshing lavender towel. While the guest is in our relaxation lounge, we offer a menu with cold-pressed juices that each provide a special experience:

Unique Treatment: Our Romantic Journey: Be In Love. It consists of a romantic massage and a facial in a suite with a Jacuzzi full of petals. Guests are also served champagne and chocolate-coated strawberries. If you are celebrating love, there is no better way to do it than at the spa.

Splurge Treatment: The Diamond Cocoon Experience is a facial created to reverse the effects of modern pollution and stress. It feeds the skin and gives the face back its power to glow with vitality. Why? Because it’s a facial created for all skin types to embrace modern life full of pollution and blue light, which nowadays causes even more damage to our skin than UV light.
