We spoke with Kellee Marker, Director of Sales & Marketing at Le Méridien Columbus, The Joseph, who took us behind-the-scenes and shared special spa bonuses, treatments to try, and more.

Why You’ll Love It: The exclusivity. Our Spa Suites include a private treatment area, relaxation area, and luxurious bathing area that is exclusive to the individual without the overlapping of other guests.

Key Features: Our Spa Suites feature custom stone and marble décor, rain showers with seven body sprayers, and a 32” heated mosaic tile bed. The relaxation lounge area includes a sectional sofa with a television embedded behind a wall of mirrors.

Bonus: Each treatment includes a period of relaxation, in which the guest(s) have the suite to themselves to enjoy the amenities, indulge in food and beverages, unwind and watch TV, relax in the soaking tub, etc. The amount of relaxation time is dependent on the duration of the service. For example, a 90-minute treatment includes 45 minutes of relaxation. Additional relaxation time can be purchased.

Insider’s Tip: Our Spa Suites are available to the public, in addition to hotel guests. Please make appointments in advance, especially for weekend treatments.

Snacks Served: Our in-room dining menu is available in the Spa Suites offering small plate options, salads, etc. We also have a special menu available for groups to utilize when renting the Spa Suites as Get-Ready spaces.

Splurge Treatment: I absolutely recommend adding the Salt & Oil Scrub to any massage treatment. This 30-minute add-on treatment uses sea salt and aromatherapy oils to smooth, brighten, and tone the skin—leaving you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

Insider’s Favorite: My favorite treatment is the High Street Hot Stone Massage. The use of heated volcanic stones helps to loosen up tight muscles while the warmth is soothing.

Unique Treatment: Our most unique treatment is our Signature Treatment. This service begins with a full-body exfoliation using a body brush and polish, followed by a 50-minute aromatherapy massage. It is concluded with a 30-minute aromatherapy bath soak. This service also includes 60 minutes of relaxation time in the spa suite after the service. As an added benefit, the guest gets to keep the body brush.
