We interviewed Melissa Deese, Spa Director at The Spa at Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, to learn more about treatments to try, insider tips, and more.

Why You’ll Love It: Guests love all the amenities the Spa has to offer and how they can come to the Spa with friends. They enjoy a spa service and then relax by the pool the rest of the day.

Key Features: The Spa has 21 single treatment rooms, two couples suites, a large gathering room, dining room, and a men’s and women’s locker room. Both locker rooms have a wet steam, dry sauna and a hot tub. Then we have an outdoor therapy pool.

Snacks Served: We serve complimentary infused water, coffee and tea. We have cocktails and lunch that can be purchased while at the spa. We have a nice lunch offering.

The locker room’s luxurious amenities include steam room, sauna, and jacuzzi.

Insider’s Tip: When booking a spa day you definitely want to book out your day so you can enjoy a service and utilize all the amenities at the spa. It is also nice to come with friends and family. It is a nice escape from life.

Guests can lounge in the spacious Gathering Area which has a mermaid fountain in the center.

Splurge Treatment: Our luxurious facial would be our newest HydraFacial treatment. We offer it in a 60, 75 and 90-minute service. Our luxurious massage treatment would be our Body in Balance. This is a 2-hour treatment where you receive a body scrub, body wrap and a 60-minute massage. You feel so relaxed, and your skin feels amazing.

Before and after services, guests can order health-conscious cuisine from the gourmet spa café and lounge by the pool.

Unique Treatment: Our most unique treatment is our Ponte Vedra Oasis. Escape to your own oasis with this relaxing and revitalizing body ritual. The journey commences with the application of a warmed exfoliating toning serum with soft notes of pear. A second exfoliating massage softens the skin and invigorates the body. A unique foot massage based on reflexology revives vital energy complete with a full-body massage of melted aromatic shea butter bringing blissful relaxation.

The pool has plenty of loungers to relax on—both in the sun and shade.

Insider’s Favorite: My favorite treatment is the Florida Ritual. It uses our signature sweet orange and honey products. You receive a body scrub and then a 60-minute massage. You also receive a hot oil scalp massage.
