The 2,400-square-meter Spa & Health Club at The Chedi Andermatt is spread across three floors and offers guests a relaxing wellness sanctuary that is designed to being energy, body, and spirit into balance. The design and treatments feature a symbiosis of restorative Alpine and Asian tradition with spacious amenities including a Tibetan relaxation lounge, hydrotherapy areas, private spa suites, and the longest indoor swimming pool in Switzerland.

Key Features: The indoor pool with 35 meters is the longest hotel pool in Switzerland and is complemented by the 12-meter outdoor pool, which is heated all year round. Opening the doors to the Hydrotherapy you literally step into another world with dimmed light, warm air, lush niches, jacuzzi, saunas and steam baths, a plunge pool, as well as three different temperature hot pools.

The first-class fitness center amazes with lots of daylight and leaves nothing to be desired with its exceptionally large variety of TechnoGym brand equipment. During the winter season, varied group courses are offered for all those guests who still haven't had enough before or after skiing or simply don’t want to leave the coziness.

Snacks Served: The food and beverage menu is carefully curated by our culinary team to complement the The Spa philosophy and features everything from fresh juices, smoothies, protein shakes, various matcha drinks, teas, coffees, champagne, wines, and beers to light bites such as salads, Vietnamese salad rolls, sandwiches, fruit, cheeses, and vegan desserts.

Bonus: All guests are served a welcome drink and snack at the indoor pool. Dispensers with flavored water are available throughout the entire spa, and while they wait for their booked treatment we serve tea, water, dried fruits and nuts. After the treatment a glass of water enriched with energetic stones is served, ensuring all our guests are well hydrated.

A salt scrub thoroughly cleanses and smoothes the skin of the entire body. While the body pack takes effect, you receive a pampering facial massage. The experience is rounded off with an aromatherapy massage using nourishing herbal (pine and lime) massage oil made from citrus, lavender, and pine.

Unique Treatment: Our most unique treatments are any of the Omorovicza treatments as all Omorovicza products contain a blend of Hungary’s mineral-rich healing waters and the patented Healing Concentrate.

Omorovicza (The Queen Ritual): Your royal journey begins with an Omorovicza Sea Salt bath, a glass of champagne, and a relaxing head massage. Then we pamper you with full-body exfoliation and a massage with 24-carat gold products. The crowning glory is The Queen Facial with gentle lymphatic drainage that reduces puffiness and eliminates excess fluids and toxins from the tissues. This is followed by a relaxing facial massage with hot rose quartz rods.

The spa has 12 private treatment suites and a menu that offers individually tailored, Far East-inspired treatments.

Insider’s Favorite: The Chedi Chakra Balance Massage, an energizing combination of plant essences and marma point massage, which opens the flow of healing energy through the chakras and boosts vitality. This gentle massage method uses light to medium pressure to stimulate the flow of energy. It is applied to the back of the body and ends with a mini-facial massage with marma points.
