The Retreat Costa Rica Opens Gratitude Lounge Café - Tea and Wine Bar
Luxury wellness boutique The Retreat Costa Rica recently opened Gratitude Lounge Café - Tea and Wine Bar, which is adjacent to the Vida Mia Healing Center & Spa’s Gratitude Lounge.
The Café’s menu—which presents an appealing plant-based menu of snacks, smoothies, light lunches and sunset platters with a select listing of organic and biodynamic wines—was designed by founder and owner Diana Stobo, who is a celebrity chef, bestselling author, and health and wellness life coach.

The Retreat’s menus are based on an anti-inflammatory diet that incorporates organic produce, most of which is grown on the resort’s soil-rich organic farm, which faces south of a crystal mountain and is watered by high-energy crystal-infused spring water. Its kitchen is grain-free, dairy-free, and doesn’t use refined sweeteners.
Tasty and healthy offerings on the full a la carte menu at Gratitude Lounge Café - Tea and Wine Bar include vegan chorizo and cheese nachos, jackfruit sliders, portobello and cassava tacos, grain and fruit bowls, and more. The beverage list features homemade nut milkshakes, fruity granita/slushies, biodynamic wines, rare teas, matcha and beet lattes, various other healthy snacks, and drinking water and frescos are enhanced with garden-fresh healing herbs.
