Want to Beat the Summer Heat? Head to W Los Angeles for De Soi's Immersive Residency at the WET Deck

W Los Angeles — West Beverly Hills has partnered with beverage brand De Soi for the immersice WET Deck residency through Sept. 30.

If you’re over the current heat wave and need some relief or are looking for an alternative to working from home, W Los Angeles — Beverly Hills has partnered with spirit-free beverage brand De Soi for an immersive WET Deck residency at the hotel’s pool.

The residency, which runs through Sept. 30, has transformed the WET Deck at the hotel into the ultimate De Soi haven complete with a De Soi Airstream bar, custom-branded pool floats, and other special branded touches throughout the pool deck.

The partnership also coincides with the launch of De Soi's new Social Spritz, bringing the brand's newest innovation to W Los Angeles, seamlessly blending elevated cocktails and sophisticated alcohol-free alternatives into a single social experience.

De Soi is an alcohol-free line of elevated beverages that was co-founded by singer Katy Perry and renowned master distiller Morgan McLachlan. Their sophisticated sparkling apéritifs are crafted with layered botanicals, natural adaptogens, and culinary-inspired flavors to offer more wellness-forward social drinking experiences.

The immersive residency transforms the WET Deck with a De Soi takeover, celebrating wellness , sunshine, and elevated poolside hangs during the hottest time of year.

Guests can book WET Deck day passes or WET Deck Cabanas for the ultimate “daycation” experience, which includes complimentary Wi-Fi, sunscreen, and other extras.

Throughout the summer, the residency is accompanied by the WET Deck's signature Sunchasers DJ series, with rotating sets from Brandon Cruz, Mike Carbonell, Debo, Splyce, Michael Basic, and many more.

If you get hungry, a selection of California-inspired bites can be ordered from Beach House, the hotel’s poolside restaurant and bar, as well as an array of fun cocktails and mocktails.

Two exclusive De Soi beverages have been created for the residency including Midnight Bloom (Purple Lune De Soi, vodka, St-Germain, simple syrup, and a lemon twist), and the spirit-free Golden Kiss (Golden Hour De Soi, cucumber mint syrup, fresh mint, and a cucumber garnish).

For an elevated poolside experience, book one of the hotel’s private poolside cabanas and soak up the sun.

I recently had the chance to swap working from home for a “work day by the pool” at the WET Deck, where I got to experience the residency’s various offerings while relaxing in the EWOW Cabana (also known as the Presidential WET Cabana).

The cabana can accommodate up to six guests, includes a private outdoor deck with loungers, and is outfitted with private shades, a sectioned sofa, flat-screen TV, and a table. Our co-founder Lizzy Sherman joined me for the afternoon and we brought our laptops so we could simultaneously relax while catching up on emails and other work-related things.

For lunch, we ordered various dishes from the Beach House menu including chips with guacamole and salsa, fish tacos, fries, and for dessert, chilled rice pudding and churros with chocolate dipping sauce. We also tried the De Soi mocktails which were tasty and refreshing — I was a big fan of the Golden Kiss.

The De Soi beverages also taste great by themselves, and I sipped on Très Rosé, which features tart raspberry, lychee, and earthy notes of rooibos. I made sure to take a few extra cans of De Soi home with me so I can sip on a refreshing chilled drink whenever I get a craving.
