We Tried Calm SexyHair CBD Hair Products

In case you didn’t know, I’m kind of obsessed with hair products. Obsessed. Having abused my hair forever— not kidding—I had my first perm when I was 8 years old! I’m always on the hunt for products to give me shiny, healthy hair.

I’m also very picky. Too sticky? No thanks. Smells weird? Buh-bye.

I was recently introduced to the new Calm SexyHair collection and it was love at first blow-dry. Infused with CBD from the hemp flower and a blend of avocado and macadamia cold pressed oils, my hair has never felt softer or smoother.

Not to mention that the products smell amazing. So good. Plus, we could all use a little help in the “calming” department these days. Good hair day = calm as a cucumber.  

Leaf in Smoothing Conditioner ($24.95)

My hair is always a tangly mess, so a leave-in conditioner has always been a must. After I shampoo and condition, I spray from roots to ends and style as usual.

Formulated with 100mg CBD, when spritzed on damp hair it helps to nourish and detangle my hair without weighing it down. And again, it smells amazing. 

The other day I ran into a store to pick up my order and the person helping me (who might I add was wearing a mask), said, “OMG, is that your hair that smells amazing? What products are you using?” True story.

Wetfix & Chill All Style Dry Crème ($22.95)

Frizzy doesn’t even begin to describe my hair.  If I were to style my hair without any product, my hair would be a dry frizzy nightmare. The Dry Crème, applied to my damp hair, helps smooth out my hair and gives me the sleek and shiny hair of my dreams.  A very tiny amount goes a long way.  And I can’t say it enough—it smells amazing. 

Dose Soothing Oil Elixir ($22.95)

I’m not naturally a blonde and years of bleaching your hair really takes its toll. Not only is my hair a tangled frizzy mess, it’s full of split ends. I use the Oil Elixir on my dry hair to smooth out any flyways and to help reduce further breakage.

So here’s the thing: I’m not a doctor or a scientist. I don’t claim to know anything about CBD or its efficacy in products. I can only talk about and share what I like, and what works for me.

I really love these hair products and feel like they have made a difference in the shininess and texture of my hair. Is it the CBD? The macadamia nut oil? I guess I’ll never really know. But my hair smells amazing and that’s enough for me.
