We Tried Burt's Bees New Makeup Collection

Burt’s Bees is known for its natural, eco-friendly products that have been around for over 30 years. With an ever-increasing demand for natural skincare and cosmetics, the brand recently expanded their line to include concealer, liquid lipsticks, lip and cheek sticks, bronzer and highlighting sticks. They also extended the existing shade range of their Goodness Glows Liquid Foundation, which now comes in 18 colors. I recently got to hang out with the Burt’s Bees team, talk all things natural beauty, and try all the products!

Burt’s Bees Concealer ($12.99)

Made with key ingredients like shea butter and avocado, this concealer helps cover dark circles and minor imperfections. It’s made with 98.5% natural ingredients and without all the bad stuff like parabens, phthalates, talc, synthetic fragrances, dyes or silicones. If you’re looking for a lightweight everyday concealer, look no further. Just make sure to set it with a light powder, as it is super moisturizing, (nobody wants dry under eyes!) and should be set to prevent creasing.

Burt’s Bees All Aglow Lip & Cheek Stick ($12.99)

I’m a huge fan of products that can multitask, and these sticks double as both a lipstick and a blush. Made to provide a fresh wash of color to lips and cheeks, they’re great for a quick five -minute makeup look. These are perfect for those with normal to dry skin. With a hydrating coconut oil core, they apply easily and blend without being greasy. With six shades to choose from, you can’t go wrong. Dewy lips and cheeks for the win!

Burt’s Bees All Aglow Bronzer & Highlighter Sticks ($12.99)

Available in three shades, these sticks help to brighten and define while delivering moisture to the skin with cupuacu butter and daikon radish extract. They are made with 100% natural ingredients and the same coconut oil core as the lip and cheek sticks.

Burt’s Bees Liquid Lipstick ($9.99)

My personal favorite, the liquid lipstick is described as “velvety soft with brilliant color that cares.” I couldn’t have said it better myself! With apricot, shea butter and babassu oil, these are by far the best lipsticks in my collection. If you’re looking for matte, dry liquid lipstick that won’t come off without industrial strength remover—these aren’t them. These beauties are the perfect balance between a lipstick and a comfortable lip gloss that lasts up to four hours. Bottom line: they look and feel amazing. Available in 18 shades, there’s a color for everyone. You won’t be disappointed.

One of my favorite aspects of the brand is their emphasis on natural beauty and being yourself, whatever that means to you. With their new launch, you can really feel the amount of heart, love and dedication that went into formulating their products with both the consumer and the environment in mind. The products are not tested on animals and can be recycled though the Recycle On Us Program. #freeyourbeauty
