K-Beauty: 3 Sulwhasoo Products You Need to Try

If you haven’t heard of the Korean beauty brand Sulwhasoo, you’re missing out. I was recently given the opportunity to experience some products from their line, and boy am I glad I did!
Sulwhasoo is Korea’s most recognized beauty brand with a range of products that will enhance your inner beauty and improve the quality of your skin over time. With key ingredients like ginseng, Sulwhasoo is deeply rooted in herbal medicine and a holistic philosophy.
Sulwhasoo Essential Lip Serum Stick.

This is my absolute favorite. Formulated with camellia oil and a safflower complex, these lipsticks go on like a dream. Hydrated, fuller-looking lips? Yes, please! Apricot kernel oil and elastic complex help fill in the surface of your lips, eliminating lines and overall dryness. They come in a variety of shades from clear to red. I’ll be the first to admit that $38 is a bit pricey for a lipstick, but it’s really a lipstick and lip treatment in one. You need it. You won’t be sorry.
Sulwhasoo Perfecting Cushion.

Their signature cushion foundation comes in different formulas including Intense and brightening. I can’t explain how beautiful it looks on skin. Use the puff to gently apply and voila, you’re ready for your close-up! My personal favorite is the brightening formula, which has a semi-matte, lightweight finish with sheer to medium coverage. If you’re a more full coverage gal (or guy) with dry skin, the intense formula might be for you. All of their formulas have SPF 50+, anti-aging benefits and come with a full-size refill. So. Good.
Sulwhasoo Makeup Balancer.

When I first tried this product, I wasn’t sure what to expect. After one use, it became my favorite makeup primer. And I have a lot of makeup primers in my drawer. Not only does it help balance the skin, but it also corrects any dullness or sallowness. Holy grail status right here!
Their line contains a variety of other noteworthy products, including blushes (hello, gorgeous), powder (buh-bye pores), and of course, skin care. I’ve always had the philosophy that your makeup is only as good as the skin underneath. The fact that their makeup is infused with skincare makes my heart happy.
