We sat down with Rod Gruendyke, General Manager of Sunset Marquis, to learn more about the spa and its unique offerings.
What do guests love most about your spa? Guests love the luxurious experience we provide with every treatment. The tranquil atmosphere creates a peaceful setting where guests can escape and recharge. The amenities, beautiful design and excellent service transports guests to a world of indulgence and relaxation. In addition, our therapists, manicurists and aestheticians are attentive and aim to deliver the best service.
Tell us about the amenities featured at your spa? We offer private, spacious treatment rooms with massage beds by Porsche, and private showers and bathrooms. Additional amenities include valet parking, access to Sunset Marquis’ ultra-private Villa Pool and Equinox Fitness. (The gym and pool access are for certain treatments only).
Can you share a special spa bonus that guests might not be aware of before visiting your spa? Guests are served a complimentary glass of champagne in the relaxation lounge. Our treatments are also easily customizable. Guests can choose from an array of facial treatments, massages, and even ask for a color consultation for manicures.
What snacks and beverages do you serve at the spa? In addition to a complimentary glass of champagne, guests may order from the menu at Cavatina Restaurant, which is adjacent to the spa.
Can you recommend a luxurious “splurge” treatment? The Spa-Liday is their most luxurious treatment. It includes a 90-minute massage, a 90-minute facial, classic manicure and pedicure, a day pass to the Sunset Marquis pool, a glass of champagne, and valet parking during their spa visit.
What is the most unique treatment? The Couples Romance Ritual is unique and perfect for a couples' getaway. The treatment includes side-by-side aromatherapy massages, champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries, rose petals and candlelight in a private suite.
Do you have a favorite treatment at the spa? The Sunset Marquis treatment package includes a 50-minute massage, 50-minute facial, a manicure and pedicure, and champagne.
Which brands of products are featured at the spa? We feature high-quality beauty and skincare products to give our guests the best spa experience. The products we use include Arcona, Chanel, Guinot, La Natura, and more. We also offer butter London nail polish, LashFOOD eye candy bars, and Lori Jack sandals.
