As longtime beauty editors and writers, we’ve tried countless products throughout the years. And while we each have our tried-and-true staples that we’re loyal to, we’re always on the lookout for new faves to add to our beauty routines as well.
Catrice Cosmetics’ Hydrating Lip Jams Are a Sweet Summer Treat for Lips
Finishing an entire product can feel like a big accomplishment because it’s hard to stick with something if you’re not seeing results. With so many options to choose from nowadays, we’re spoiled for choice and our beauty shelves at home tend to be a reflection of that.
How many open products do you have at the moment that you haven’t finished because you keep switching it up? It’s always exciting when you find a great product that works for you, that you actually finish, and that you plan to purchase again after it’s gone.

My latest 'shower empty' has been amika's Hydro Rush Intense Moisture Shampoo with Hyaluronic Acid ($26), a cleansing solution for dry and dehydrated hair. I'm nearing the bottom of the collection's conditioner, Hydro Rush Intense Moisture Conditioner with Hyaluronic Acid ($26), too.
Am I the only one who tends to go through their shampoo first? Or is this a universal thing? Anyway, I've enjoyed the hydrating duo for its deeply moisturizing ability, addicting scent and pleasing textures. Hydro Rush uses hyaluronic acid, polyglutamic acid, coconut water, blue/green algae, and squalane to restore lipid barriers, add essential fatty and amino acids back into hair, and better retain moisture to hair strands.
My typically fine and dry hair has felt healthy and nourished as of late thanks to these quenching powerhouse products. Like other amika products, the scent of this shampoo and conditioner will have you coming back for more. —Alisha Racker
One of my daily essentials (especially during the hot summers) is Bella Skin Beauty Probiotic Underarm Toner ($27.50). It’s a pre-deodorant spray that eliminates odor-causing bacteria in the armpit while moisturizing the skin. It also helps deodorant last all day, but I’ve found that after a few simple spritzes I don’t even need deodorant. It’s available in multiple fun scents including watermelon and mango, and keeps me smelling fresh all day long. I wish this product had been around when I was a teenager as it’s an absolutel game-changer!
I recently tried ESYM Room Spray ($38) to refresh the rooms in my home and while it smelled nice (I used Parisian Morning, which features key notes of vanilla, coffee, and Peru balsam), it took a lot of spritzes per room to notice the scent and I went through the bottle within two weeks. I think this works better in smaller spaces like around one’s desk in their office. ESYM also offers a variety of mists for different purposes like yoga mat spray and linen spray in a variety of scents, which I am interested in trying next!
Pacifica Vegan Collagen Fluffy Lash Thickening & Lengthening Mascara ($16) is formulated with hydrating vegan collagen and plant-based fibers to help deliver full and fluffy lashes without all the bad ingredients, but I wasn’t a big fan of the applicator brush, which was narrow in the middle. It made it hard for me to apply the product evenly and I kept getting mascara on my face whenever I put it on. It gets an A+ for packaging though! —Kamala Kirk
