Park founded the brand in honor of her late sister, whom she bonded with over their mutual love for fragrances, and her sister’s favorite scent, Pretty in Purple by Juicy Couture, inspired the inception of Elysian Parfum. Everything is made with the finest ingredients sourced from around the world and Park’s husband and daughter help package and mail the orders.

Elysian Parfum’s Alchemy Collection features nine meticulously crafted fragrances that draw inspiration from the transformative nature of alchemy. Their signature packaging for the fragrances includes a chunky golden etched lid, white labels, and boxes, as well as a signature scent hang tag. Launching in mid 2024, The Lineage Collection is an elevated sensory journey that includes a frame-worthy piece of art with each creation.

We chatted with Park who shared her favorite beauty and wellness tips, secrets for success, best advice, and much more.
When was Elysian Parfum founded and what does the name mean?
The concept originated in October 2021, and the online store officially launched in 2022. The name Elysian pays homage to my late sister. It's a combination of the names of her two children (my niece and nephew) Elysia and Evan. Surprisingly, "Elysian" also means relating to or characteristic of heaven or paradise, which beautifully aligns with our brand's essence.
What inspired the creation of the brand?
The inspiration for the brand stemmed from the connection my late sister and I shared through our love for perfumes and fragrances. Perfumes were our connection in life, despite being complete opposites—she was feisty and bold while I was more calm and peaceful–it’s my last memory of seeing her. This was to honor her, create a future for her two children, and create something that will last generations. Elysian is to create lasting memories.

Does Elysian Parfum have a hero product?
I would consider all our original scents as hero products. Each one was developed out of love and as a tribute, resulting in beautiful and complex fragrances.
What are your favorite products from your brand?
Although not yet available, I'm excited about our upcoming release, Fairest of Them All. It's inspired by a blend of beauty, romance, and sweetness—reminiscent of a storybook enchantment.

Our products are exclusively available on our website.
Future plans for the brand?
We're gearing up for an exciting year ahead. We are nominated for 2024’s Best New Fragrance award at the upcoming New You Beauty Awards happening in Miami. We are also working on new fragrances and bottle designs for our upcoming Lineage Collection, which will aid us in establishing Elysian Parfum as a top-tier luxury fragrance brand, proudly based and produced in the U.S.
Who inspires you?
My future self serves as my greatest inspiration. I aspire to be a role model for my children and my late sister's children, believing in my potential and striving to achieve greatness.

Secret to success?
There's no secret formula; to me, it's all about my attitude. I have to embrace my successes and failures, learn from them, and keep pushing forward with passion and determination. I believe success comes to those who believe it and persevere.

To make fragrances last longer, apply them after moisturizing with a non-scented moisturizer. This simple step can enhance the longevity of any fragrance.
Wellness tips?
Opt for healthier food choices, avoiding ingredients and drinks high in sugar. Being mindful of what you consume can significantly impact your overall well-being.
Best advice?
Treat others with kindness, as it not only benefits them but also brings positivity into your own life. Good deeds foster good karma.
Favorite way to relax?
I find solace in simple pleasures like indulging in a spa day, particularly for the relaxing scents and essential oils. Spending quality time with my husband, Milot, also brings me immense joy and relaxation.
