Our latest Beauty Boss is Marion Goyet, Global Marketing Director for Jurlique, an Australian skincare company that was founded by Ulrike and Juergen Klein in 1985. All of their products are made with pure, natural-based botanical ingredients and their ingredients are grown on a biodynamic farm in South Australia. Proud pioneers of slow beauty, Jurlique’s sustainable products replenish and respect the environment, and are committed to cultivating mindful rituals.
In her role as Global Brand and Marketing Director, Goyet oversees the direction and strategy of the brand globally. She also leads a talented and passionate team of experts to deliver new innovative products, which marks the future of Jurlique.
“Along with new products, we’re also working on rolling out a new retail store design and relaunching all of our spa services,” Goyet says. “It’s a really exciting time here. As the global team, we also create all the integrated marketing campaigns which are then delivered to all markets across the world to ensure we have a consistent brand look and voice globally.”
We chatted with Goyet who shared more about her journey in the industry, what inspired her to join Jurlique, secrets for success, wellness secrets and beauty tips, and much more.
When was Jurlique founded and what does the name mean?
Jurlique was founded in 1985 so we are thrilled to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the brand this year! With this being such a significant milestone, we’re excited to launch some new innovative products as well as exclusive editions of our hero products to commemorate four decades of dedication to naturally effective skincare.
For those who are unfamiliar with Jurlique, the name is a reflection of the founders, Dr. Jurgen and Ulrike Klein, a dedicated husband-and-wife duo who use their experience in biochemistry, naturopathic medicine, botany, and horticulture to extensively research and harness the full healing properties of plants.
How long have you been with the company?
I’ve been working in the beauty industry for 20+ years, but I officially joined Jurlique in 2020 after relocating with my family from France to Australia. I’ve always been passionate about natural skincare and purpose-driven brands so it was an exciting opportunity and an honour to join an heritage Australian brandwith such a special story.
What inspired you to join Jurlique?
I was inspired to join Jurlique because of its unique philosophy, unwavering commitment to sustainability, and visionary mission. At Jurlique, we believe in the Life Force of Nature so that’s why we grow our botanicals on our biodynamic farm in South Australia. The farm is a gem that connects us with nature and sets us aside in the beauty landscape.
Jurlique wants to give back to the Earth more than it takes from it and we strive to inspire people for greater well-being. In a word, Jurlique is one of the first truly conscious and holistic beauty brands, making it such an easy decision to join the brand.
Does Jurlique have a hero product?
Our hero products are the Activating Water Essence+ and the face oil collection, with Rare Rose and Purely Age Defying being the most popular of the face oils. You can even combine the two products together: eight drops of our Essence mixed with two drops of one of our Face Oils, based on your skin’s needs. This combination really helps leave your skin nurtured and healthy-looking.
We are also very famous for our Rose Collection, especially for the incredible floral scent. From that collection, our bestsellers are the Rosewater Balancing Mist and Rose Hand Cream, which have been very popular among celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Halle Berry.
What are your favorite products from the brand?
So many! But my absolute favorites are the ones I use every day. I like to start with a spritz of one of our mists, just after waking up. I try to cater the mist to the energy I wish to receive that morning as each aroma profile evokes a different mood.
Next, I use the Replenishing Cleansing Lotion, Activating Water Essence+, and our new Herbal Recovery range; Bi-Phase Serum, Eye Oil Roll-On, and the cream for my AM routine. While targeting first signs of aging, it also gives me the iconic Jurlique glow!
At night, I always double cleanse and do five minutes of auto-massage with one of our Face Oils. Currently my pick is the Calendula Face Oil, as my skin has been a bit more sensitive lately due to the seasonal change.
On the go, I use the Relax or Energy Aromatherapy Blend Roll-Ons, depending on what I need during the day.

Future plans for the brand?
Jurlique has always been a pioneer in creating naturally effective skincare for every skin type—and now, we’re taking it even further. Our next-generation formulas will feature 98 to 100% natural origin ingredients, without compromising on performance or sensorial experience. Over the next few years, we’ll be revitalizing our classic ranges to meet these new standards.
Sustainability remains at the heart of what we do: new recyclable packaging for all of our products, promoting biodynamic and regenerative farming practices, becoming carbon neutral, supporting our community, and partnering with likeminded organizations. As a proud B Corp since 2023, we’re dedicated to shaping a better future for beauty.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to expand our physical presence and spa offerings in the U.S. and Europe, bringing the power of nature to even more people.
Who inspires you?
Often we're quick to point to prominent figures as our biggest inspirations, but in reality, it’s the everyday people around us who have the most profound impact. For me, it's the courage, kindness, integrity, and dedication I see in my friends and colleagues that truly inspire me. Their actions constantly amaze me and motivate me to be a better person.
Secret to success?
First, define what success means to you. For me, it’s about staying true to my values, taking action that aligns with them, and finding fulfillment by pursuing my passions and making a meaningful impact.
Beauty secrets?
Simple: be mindful about what you put in and on your skin, get good sleep, eat a balanced diet, stay active, and make time to laugh and love. Our skin reflects how we feel!
Wellness tips?
Always be kind to yourself! Every day, make it a priority to check in with yourself, pause, and acknowledge how you feel. And don’t forget to explore and practice what helps you to recharge—especially when you have been pushing yourself too hard.
Best advice?
Focus on the good and the good gets better!
How do you like to relax?
Being with family and friends is always my go-to way to relax, but taking part in a hobby or self-care when I need moments alone are also essential. As a certified yoga teacher, yoga and meditation are imperative to my personal wellness ritual.
I also love the ocean, so I feel so blessed to live in Sydney! I am a big fan of surfing and I believe there’s something special about immersing and connecting with nature in this way—it’s both powerful and mindful!
