Order a Canine-Inspired Cocktail to Help Animals in Need This Summer at The Langham Huntington, Pasadena

The iconic Langham Huntington, Pasadena has partnered with Pasadena Humane to launch the fundraising campaign “Cocktails for a Cause.”

Dog days of summer got you down? Then head over to The Tap Room at The Langham Huntington, Pasadena for a refreshing cocktail that will cool you off and benefit a good cause.

The iconic landmark hotel in Pasadena, CA has partnered with Pasadena Humane to launch “Cocktails for a Cause,” a fundraising campaign that will donate a portion of proceeds from the sale of special canine-inspired cocktails to help save the lives of animals in need including dogs, cats, birds, turtles, and reptiles.

“We are so grateful to Langham for providing the opportunity to have a fun evening for a good cause at the beautiful Tap Room,” says Dia DuVernet, President and CEO of Pasadena Humane. “Funds raised will go directly towards providing safe shelter, veterinary care, and new beginnings for the thousands of animals Pasadena Humane takes in each year.”

From now through Aug. 25 (National Dog Day), drinks named in honor of canines will be served at the hotel’s Tap Room.

Now through Aug. 25 on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m., drinks named in honor of canines will be served at The Tap Room. Each week, a different spirit will be highlighted such as bubbles with Chandon, Tequila with Don Julio, Vodka with Kettle One, Gin with Tanqueray, and even a custom scotch blending with Johnnie Walker. Partner Southern Glazer Wine and Spirits will be present at each event and will provide the spirits for the cocktails. Reservations are not required.

“The Langham has always welcomed our guests’ pet dogs,” says Maria Hidalgo, Food and Beverage Manager. “We even have a Langham Doggie Program that pampers your pet with a pink porcelain pet bowl, a plush pink bed pillow, a box of treats, and a signature bandana.  We are proud to be able to create an event that will help our furry friends.”

A portion of sales from the drinks will be donated to help save the lives of animals in need including dogs, cats, birds, turtles, and reptiles.
