During a recent three-day getaway, I had the pleasure of stepping into Amara Spa—an intimate, award-winning wellness sanctuary — to experience their newly launched, completely customized Signature Zodiac Massage.

From the moment you cross the threshold, Amara Spa wraps you in cozy, elevated comfort. The space is beautifully appointed with tree-lodge-inspired elements and stunning red rock artwork that honors the natural beauty of Northern Arizona.
Located directly adjacent to the spa is the resort’s fitness center, making it a seamless pairing to fit in a workout before transitioning straight into spa mode.
During my stay, taking advantage of the fitness facilities right before stepping into the peaceful spa lounge was the perfect way to prime my body for deep relaxation and recovery.

Upon arriving at the spa, I spent a few minutes browsing the retail lobby, which features a thoughtfully curated collection of skin care products, body formulations, and unique lifestyle gifts.
After checking in, I was guided to the locker room to swap my clothes for a plush robe and slippers before relaxing in the tranquility lounge.

I spent my pre-treatment time sipping warm herbal tea, nibbling on a delicious trail mix, and letting the quiet calm set in.

What makes the Signature Zodiac Massage truly unique is how thoroughly it’s tailored to your personal astrological rhythm.
Prior to my visit, I submitted my Big Three: Libra Sun, Aries Moon, and Scorpio Rising (admittedly, I had to double-check my exact birth time to look up my full chart!).

My therapist greeted me with a warm smile that instantly put me at ease. Every single element of the treatment was custom-crafted around my chart details. The massage utilizes bespoke celestial body oils infused with Sedona vortex red rocks, pure gold, and Herkimer diamonds from Star Code Alchemy.
My personal blend featured aromatic character notes of elegant florality and bright citrus, grounded with subtle woods, patchouli, vetiver, and fir moss. Designed specifically to support balance, courage, and grounded self-care, the aromatic oil worked into my muscles with expert therapeutic touch, untying every knot and releasing stored tension.

Upon leaving the treatment room, I received a personalized "Your Personalized Celestial Blend" card outlining my specific sun, moon, and rising dynamics, along with a custom roll-on oil blend, a 2026 Moon Phase & Eclipse Calendar card, and a copper tea strainer to pair with my custom tea.

The Signature Zodiac Massage is designed to map your body's individual rhythms using therapeutic touch and elemental aromatherapy, offered in a 60-minute session for $230 or a 90-minute session for $310.

After my treatment, I took full advantage of the locker room amenities — enjoying a refreshing shower and spending a little extra time exploring the retail boutique before heading back out.
