Welcoming the Change of Seasons at The Spa at Casa Mani Resort Napa Valley
Casa Mani opened in April 2026 as Napa’s first true downtown urban resort.
One of my favorite things about traveling is the chance to open myself up to surprise. Turns out, the element of surprise can apply to spa treatments, too.
I stepped into The Spa at Casa Mani in Napa, California, on a recent fall morning with an appointment for Turning of the Seasons. All I knew was that it was a 100-minute experience blending botanicals, bodywork, and sensory elements that change with the time of year.

Beyond that, I’d left the details to my therapist. Nearly two hours later, I went into the afternoon massaged, moisturized, and ready to fully embrace autumn.
A soaring ceiling and lobby greenery set the stage for a visit to Casa Mani.
Seasonal Treatments Connected to the Elements
My spa day kicked off with a trip through the co-ed Hydrothermal Circuit, moving from a large steam room to a spacious wood-lined Finnish sauna and finally, a bracing ice-cold shower.
Choose between cold rain and eucalyptus-scented cold mist — the latter sounds gentler than it feels. The spa recommends you repeat your cycle through the three steps.
Once I was settled on a heated massage table in one of the spa’s five treatment rooms, my expert bodyworker, Teresa, introduced a seasonal lineup of scrub, massage, and facial treatments using botanicals from natural beauty and wellness brand red flower.

She briskly exfoliated my skin with Lemon Coffee Blossom Olive Stone Scrub, combining moisturizing black olive oil with invigorating fresh lemon rind. I rinsed off in a private rain shower before returning for a massage with cardamom amber oil, fragrant with sandalwood, jasmine, and warming spice.
A gentle facial massage with Illuminating Rose Collagen Renewal Face Serum completed the ritual, leaving my skin soft and refreshed. Each step brought a new texture or fragrance, making the unfolding treatment part of the pleasure.

The spa’s broader menu includes the lavender-scented Casa Mani Massage, the Moonflower Dream Ritual with a rose-infused facial massage and foot treatment, and facials featuring Monastery skincare and HydraFacial technology.
Casa Mani has five treatment rooms, including one designed for couples’ treatments.
Rooms and Dining Under the Redwoods
For this wellness junkie, the spa is a highlight of Casa Mani Resort Napa Valley. Opened in April 2026 as part of the Curio Collection by Hilton following a complete redevelopment, the luxury property features 188 renovated guestrooms and 15 suites, with cozy wood accents and details inspired by wine barrels and cork.
Service throughout my stay was warm and polished, making me feel welcome and well looked after. My Redwood Lawn Deluxe Suite offered a decadent soaking tub, rain shower, robes and slippers, a Nespresso machine, smart toilet, wine fridge, and Dyson hair dryer tucked into a neat leather case.

Beyond the spa, a Peloton Spaces fitness center, an outdoor pool, and whirlpool round out the wellness offerings.

Breakfast at the hotel’s Creekside Terrace restaurant showcases local ingredients in dishes such as the Napa Omelet with Humboldt Fog goat cheese, Bloomsdale heirloom spinach, and maitake mushrooms. Croissants from downtown Napa’s acclaimed Model Bakery filled out my meal nicely.
A grilled Little Gem salad pairs chicken with black truffle vinaigrette and crispy shallots at lunchtime, while the resort’s outpost of BOA Steakhouse offers tempting options such as Japanese A5 Wagyu and braised short ribs with roasted bone marrow at dinner seven nights a week.
Local ingredients are the star at breakfast and lunch at Creekside Terrace.
Back at my suite, a private firepit and Adirondack chairs awaited on the terrace. I’d left the morning’s plans to Teresa; the afternoons required nothing more than pulling up a chair.

Insider Tips:
Bring a swimsuit for the Hydrothermal Circuit as well as the outdoor pool (Casa Mani Resort Napa Valley boasts downtown Napa’s largest pool deck) and whirlpool.
In years past, visitors to Napa Valley used to breeze through the city of Napa on their way to legacy Wine Country destinations like Yountville and Saint Helena. But today, Napa is cultivating a reputation as a stand-alone spot with great shopping and cuisine and the yearly BottleRock music festival.
You don’t have to head into the vineyards to explore Napa Valley’s wines. Downtown Napa has more than 30 tasting rooms, most within walking distance of one another, making it easy to pair a tasting with shopping or dinner.
Casa Mani boasts downtown’s largest pool deck.
