Meditation does require practice and patience, but there are various ways in which you can achieve a deeper level of concentration, such as incorporating aromatherapy, instrumental music, or nature sounds. One of the most relaxing sounds to listen to is the waves crashing on the shore—it makes you feel like you’re on vacation!
Check out the above video courtesy of Velas Resorts, which will make the perfect addition to your meditation routine. It will instantly transport you to the beaches of Los Cabos, where you can watch a beautiful sunrise while listening to the relaxing sounds of the waves. And follow the tips below to enhance your next meditation for ultimate relaxation.
4 Meditation Tips:
Wear comfortable clothes. Take off your shoes, you don’t need them for this! Instead, use clothes that allow you to move freely.
Find a quiet place. In order to get more concentration, it’s important to look out for a place where you can’t get distracted or interrupted.
Good posture is important. The proper way is to sit on the floor, on your knees or cross-legged, with a straight back and loose arms.
Focus your attention on the sounds of the sea. Close your eyes, let your thoughts flow and imagine every detail of the ocean: Its smell, walking barefoot on the sand, and the wind moving the palm trees.
